Dear Payroll Professional:

The Birmingham Payroll Association membership campaign is in full swing.  We have been expanding our membership base and creating a more dynamic interaction between our members allowing for a bigger network of payroll professionals in the Birmingham area.  More than anything, the success of our BPA members has shown that when we provide the necessary and most up to date information to our members they are able to be more successful in their jobs.

The BPA is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to payroll professionals, as well as other professionals who service and support the payroll industry.

There are over One Million people who work in the Birmingham Metro area that receive paychecks through the year. Payroll Professionals must stay abreast of constant legislative and technological changes in order to produce the payroll accurately and on time.  The BPA serves to help payroll, benefits, accounting and human resource professionals meet these challenges by holding bi-monthly meetings, online support, certification classes and networking with other professionals.

We invite you to visit our bi-monthly meetings.  The date and location of each meeting will be announced on our website prior to the meeting date with an email invitation being sent out to guests and members registered on the BPA website.  Attending meetings will give you the opportunity to network with other payroll professionals who work in comparable sized companies or in similar operating environments while many times earning continuing education credits.  It also allows us to discuss challenges we are facing and procedures we are considering and learn from the experience of others.

We hope you will accept this invitation to join the BPA, one of the best professional organizations in the Birminghamarea.  Please find the attached membership application for your consideration.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me or any Board member.    We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Kim Weaver

Membership Chairman
